Första reaktionerna hyllar och sågar ”Jurassic World: Dominion”

Pepp på att se ”Jurassic World: Dominion” som går upp på bio på torsdag? Håll nere förväntningarna en aning. De första reaktionerna har just hittat sig ut på sociala medier, och medan vissa kritiker hyllar ett storskaligt och skoj äventyr menar många andra att filmen är tråkig – kanske den sämsta i hela franchisen.

Colin Trevorrow kommer tillbaka i registolen efter den underhållande ”Jurassic World” (2015 års mest inkomstbringande film) och med sig har han Spielbergs ursprungliga dino-experter Sam Neill, Laura Dern och Jeff Goldblum. Det blir ett nostalgiskt återstående för fansen. Men frågan är om det räcker? 

På grund av embargo publiceras MovieZines recension först på onsdag kväll, men jag har släppt ett smakprov på Twitter:

“Jurassic World Dominion” – the “epic and global finale” we were promised is underwhelming and often silly. At least the final hour delivers a fun, nostalgic matinee adventure which is really all you could hope for. Lower your expectations, bring the popcorn.

1. Favoriten i den nya trilogin

GOOD NEWS: #JurassicWorldDominion is my favorite film of the new Jurassic trilogy. It’s stuffed w/ thrilling dinosaur encounters & lots more Jeff Goldblum, but it’s also got a great balance of creepy & inventive scenarios w/ some choice nods to what came before. 2. En massiv besvikelse

It brings me no joy to report that #JurassicWorldDominion is a MASSIVE disappointment. 3. Perfekt mix av praktiska och digitala effekter

#JurassicWorldDominion rocks an excellent mix of practical & digital effects. Dinos look GREAT. Dimetrodon scene is … right up my alley. 4. Sämsta filmen i franchisen

8. Hyfsad underhållning för fansen

Jurassic World: Dominion throws a ton at the wall to see what sticks. The first act is alright, the middle sags/feels out of a different franchise, but the third act is a real pleasing section of fan service.
