Den 68:e upplagan av BAFTA-galan kommer i år att hållas i Royal Opera House, London den 8 februari 2015. För tionde gången är Stephen Fry programledare för galan.
Wes Andersons film ”The Grand Budapest Hotel” leder med sina 11 BAFTA-nomineringar varav en för bästa film. Därefter följer ”The Theory of Everything” om Stephen Hawkings liv, samt Alejandro Iñárritus film ”Birdman”. Filmerna har fått tio nomineringar var, bland annat för bästa film och bästa regi.
En halvsvensk BAFTA kan gå till filmfotografen Hoyte van Hoytema, nominerad för sitt arbete med ”Interstellar”. Vi håller tummarna.
BAFTA-galan visas live kl. 22.00 i SVT Flow söndag den 8 februari. Därefter finns den tillgänglig att se i en vecka till.
Vad gäller den kommande Oscarsgalan svarar SVT att de hoppas få visa även den.
